Q: How much is it to lease an Audi A5?
i'm thinking of doing a 2 year lease. how much would it cost around per monthly? thanks my credit score is pretty good. it's around 750+

A: Depends which engine you go for, what optional kit you are putting in, whether you buy new or used? I bought an A5 3.0l TDI sport with all the toys in black second hand with 15000 miles on the clock and it costs me £550 per month over 4 years.

Q: Do you prefer the look of an Audi A5 or A4?
Please don't be bias, just wondering since when i see an A5 drive past me on the motorway, they look LUSH!!!! :)

A: I do agree that the A5 is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! I especially like those racing seats Audi has been putting in their latest S models, like the S6 and S5. However, I may have to side with the A4 on this one only because I am a sedan type of guy. Sedans are more classy and practical whereas the coupe style on the A5 screams sport. That doesn't mean that the A5 isn't classy though, you can easily imagine a sophisticated guy getting out of this car in Monte Carlo wearing a Prada suit. It would be an extremely close duo though if I had to choose just one, so if I ever came across the money, I would just have to get both to suit my mood of the day :)

Q: Anyone seen the new Audi A5?
Do you think it's a worthy competitor to the 3 series coupe? Audi is not a name you'd think of when you hear "coupe." What's your opinion on the A5? If you haven't seen it, go to caranddriver.com.

A: Yes I've seen some photos of the A5. It is a nice coupé, looks like a BMW 3 series from behind. Audi used to do legendary coupés, like the famous Audi Coupé Quattro in the 80ies...The rally version, Audi Quattro Group B, was a fantastic racing machine...

Q: Audi A5 or BMW 6 Series?
What do you recommend I buy? A brand new Audi A5 or a year old BMW 6 Series (both roughly same price). Both I think have pros and cons. Discuss....

A: All new cars depreciate as soon as they leave the dealer, as such, the Audi will reduce in price faster that the 6 series (which will have gone through this stage), costing you £1,000's more than the 6 over the term of your ownership of the vehicle. There will be 1,000's more A5's sold than 6's (due to the 6 being more upmarket, more expensive and out of reach to most people in comparison to the Audi). The old rule of "Supply and Demand" will help the BMW and work against the Audi. A5 reviews have not been as favourable as those for the 6 Series, primarily because it's an A4 turned into a coupe, whereas the 6 was only ever intended to be a 2 door and the driving dynamics of the 6 are far superior, making it a true drivers car. The reason why a year old 6 is the same price as a brand new A5 is because the BMW is the better car (brand new the BMW 6 is £1,000's more than any Audi A5) so you get more car for your money. My view, buy the BMW, it'll cost you a lot less over the term of ownership and will be more exclusive and enjoyable than the Audi. If you like the Audi, try a Lexus as they're both as bland and boring as each other. Finally, the A5 (like any new car) is at risk of teething problems and recall's and/or warranty claims. As the 6 series is now a few years old, any problems that may have caused trouble would have been resolved long before the car you're looking at was made). Hope this helps, Andy

A: The 335xi coupe is an amazing looking car. BMWs also have better handling than the Audi's. The 335xi has 300 horsepower, and the A5 only 265. Don't get me wrong the A5 is an awesome car, and I would love to have one, but I would go with the 335xi, better performance, better looks. Please take my word for it about the handling, BMWs are the makers of some of the highest performance cars in the world. Ask a car expert, they'll tell you the BMW has better handling.

Q: Which car would you rather drive; the BMW 335i or the new Audi A5?
Two great cars; looking for imput on a future purchase!

A: well i would say a better comparison would be the 335ci and the Audi S5.. not A5.. since the 335ci makes 300HP.. the A5, if used in conjunction with its most powerful V6 available, will probably make around 255HP or so... big difference. However, I speculate that the S5 will have the same V8 currently available on the S4, which is around 340HP... so in terms of power, it has the advantage. Plus, its a brand new model and will be a real great treat to own; the pictures i've seen so far are spectacular. As i said, i would really really wait for the S5 as opposed to a regular A5... or, if time and money isnt much of an issue for you, maybe the RS5 would put a bigger smile on your face, with over 400HP.. Q: What's the best audi car right now, besides the A5?
i'm looking to buy a new audi car, and everyone tells me i should get the A5, but it's not available at our dealer until december. however, i'd like to get one now so what audi car would be best? i want AWD or 4WD, and i have 4 people in my family, so 4-5 seater would be best. thanks

A: Well, I'll be like everybody else and say the A5 is the best. But, I know a dealer which I have heard nothing but positive reviews from has two in stock. http://valleymotors.com/ But, if you are not willing to ship the car, I would have to recommend the A6. The A4 is a good car, but it equates to the size of a BMW 3-Series which is relatively small. The A6 comes with a wonderful base engine which has adequate power, but if you want something to knock your socks off, the 4.2 offers an extra 95hp. The optional Quattro Drive is an extra $4,000, but it is definitely worth it. Not just if you have snow or anything, it is also better for safety. Around 5 Months Ago, I was driving my dealers Demo A6 for the night, and on the highway, a large shovel fell out of a pickup truck. I was driving behind a BMW 525 which tried to avoid it. Even with stability control, he span out almost causing a pileup. Luckily because the Demo had AWD, I easily avoided him. Seriously, buying an Audi without AWD is like buying a hamburger without a bun. Good Luck

Q: Is there any difference in Design between the Audi A5 & S5??
Any difference in the design in these 2 cars both internal and external??? what do you think they will cost in 3 years???

A: different engine for sure...the S5 has chrome side veiw mirror and different wheels, a different bumper, LED running lights, and exhaust. A pre-owned A5 will be about 22-25 thousand dollars in 3 year. And a pre-owned S5 will be around $30,000 in three years.

Q: I need an Audi A5?
Alright, here's how it goes. In early April I ordered an Audi A5 from two different dealers. My plan was to buy the one that comes in first. I cancelled one dealer due to a nasty sales dept. the other one is still on order. I was alerted today that my Audi has yet to be ordered and will most likely be in around November. My current lease is almost done and I need it soon. I need an Audi A5 in Deep Sea Blue with Cinnamon Leather, Automatic Transmission, Navigation System, Premium Package, and any other thing will be fine unless I get my car. A: The one you posted looked great, and it DOES have the Auto Transmission. GO FOR IT! Also, if you ask ur local dealer, they should be able to find you one. And your lease company should be able to extend your lease for a few months. Good luck! hope it all works out!

Q: Rear lights for Audi A5?
My Dad has just bought a new Audi A5. It already has some kit on it from ABT and looks so nice! Problem is....the back looks a little... boring, why has Audi decided to make the front so aggressive looking especially with the LED daylights and make the back look soo weak!? It would look so much nicer with R8 style lights at the back! Does anybody know if there are any aftermarket lights out (or coming out) for the Audi A5, maybe some LED style lights? Perhaps I could convince Dad to buy a few additions.....

Q: When is Audi A5 Cabriolet available in US?
and what's the projected price for the 3.2?

A: The A5 coupe is not in available in the US yet but is coming. Cabriolets are always at least a year behind a coupe in Audi's world. Since an A5 Cabriolet is not announced yet, I am guessing it will be at least a 2009 model if not later. AutoWeek magazine is reporting that Audi plans to build its upcoming Audi A5 convertibles at its own factory in Neckarsulm, Germany. The new soft-top A5, positioned as a lower-premium class vehicle targeting Mercedes-Benz CLK class buyers, will replace the current A4 cabriolet, which will be built only in sedan and station wagon models. As for pricing, it may stay the same as the current A4 Cabriolets meaning from $40,000 to $50,000 depending on engine, or go upscale by a few more thousand.

Q: when is the audi A5 going to be released?


A: You can start ordering them as of 6 March 07 but they won't be delivered until June (or later). This is according to the press conference on the 6th of March. This information is for Germany. I don't know when they will be available in the U.S.

A: I can't help you on the Mazda dude, but I can on the Audi & BMW!.. When I was doing research on what body kit I wanted for my Audi, one of the top two choices I narrowed it down to were these guys: http://www.rieger-tuning.de/0_BK_2009_V1... (just open the catalog and flip to the BMW section) In doing my research, I found these guys had some incredible products!.. I also saw that they has some stuff for BMW. The other top choice (which I ended up picking) who specializes in Audi and VW is: http://www.oettingeramerica.com/ You can find just about anything from distributors and other manufacturers, but I know that at least these two guys offer an excellent product!.. Also, know that some distributors don't offer all the products that some company's (for example, Rieger) have to offer. One of my friends didn't even know that Rieger had a catalog!!! Good luck finding your kits dude!..
